EMR is seeking a safety-conscious and experienced Local Class A Truck Driver to join our team in Camden, NJ. If you have at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating dump trailers, roll-off containers, and flatbeds, we want to hear from you! This is a local driving position—no overnights, no long-haul! Key Responsibilities: Safely transport materials to and from local customer sites. Load and unload roll-off containers, dump trailers, and flatbeds as necessary. Swap or live-load containers based on daily dispatch requirements. Secure all loads in accordance with DOT guidelines. Maintain clear communication with Dispatch and accurately log trip numbers. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. What We're Looking For: Valid CDL Class A license (required). Minimum of 2 years of experience driving dump trailers, roll-offs, and flatbeds. Strong knowledge of state and federal motor carrier regulations. Basic mechanical understanding of trucks and trailers. Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor. Strong safety record and excellent customer service skills. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED. Must meet all DOT qualifications and safety standards. Experience with roll-off and flatbed trucks is required. Work Environment & Schedule: Work is conducted outdoors in various weather conditions. PPE required. Some weekend or evening work may be necessary. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting light weights. This is a union position.
