Position Overview
In this role, you will conduct sleep studies, monitor patients overnight, and provide high-quality data for diagnosing sleep-related disorders. You'll be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient comfort, safety, and accurate testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and monitor patients for overnight sleep studies using standard polysomnographic procedures
Apply electrodes and monitoring devices in accordance with AASM and facility protocols
Observe, document, and respond to sleep-related events such as apneas, hypopneas, and oxygen desaturations
Titrate CPAP/BiPAP equipment as needed to ensure therapeutic benefit
Score sleep studies and assist in generating reports for physician interpretation
Educate patients about procedures and answer questions related to their sleep testing
Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning properly

Job Requirements
Required Credentials
Credentialed as a
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
by the
BRPT ,
OR certified as a
Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS)
through the
NBRC
Graduate of an accredited program in Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy
BLS certification
(must be current)
Indiana state licensure, if required
Experience
6+ months of clinical sleep lab experience preferred New graduates with appropriate training and credential eligibility are welcome to apply
