Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
to join our skilled nursing facility in Newton, IA. This role is responsible for safely administering prescribed medications to residents while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations. Available Shifts
Full-Time: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Key Responsibilities Verify resident identity before administering medications and document all details, including drug name, dosage, and time. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any adverse reactions, reporting concerns as needed. Take vital signs and assess residents' responses to medications. Document reasons for any medications not administered. Assist with direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supporting examinations or treatments. Receive, prepare, and distribute medications per physician orders. Maintain and restock medication inventories as necessary. Qualifications Completion of a state-approved
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
program Successful completion of a
Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
