Key Responsibilities: As a Delivery Driver for US FOODS®, you'll play a vital role in our operation, making you one of the key representatives of our organization. You'll directly impact our customers by efficiently delivering a variety of products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, and equipment. Provide exemplary Customer Service to each client. Ensure prompt delivery of customer orders and maintain productivity. Unload products with a hand truck and position items in customer storage areas. Handle repeated heavy lifting, managing loads up to 80 pounds. Make multiple stops throughout your shift. Deliver products even in adverse weather conditions. Confirm delivery with customers upon arrival. What You Bring to the Table: At least 21 years of age. Valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Valid U.S. driver’s license with appropriate endorsements. No more than two traffic violation convictions in the last two years, no DUI convictions in the last three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the last three years. A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience OR three months of food and beverage delivery driving experience. Ability to pass a DOT physical exam. Exceptional delivery drivers are essential to the success of US FOODS® and our customer care.
