We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. www.wsesu.org/socjus Oak Grove School is seeking a dynamic, effectual team member to join our Oak Grove School / VTLC Partner Program team as a STEP Paraeducator or Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) specifically working with a special educator and BCBA to support a new program. Candidates for this position will be responsible for following positive behavior support plans, written by a BCBA, to support students behaviorally, socially, and emotionally, as well as provide some academic support in classroom settings when needed. Qualified applicants for this position will have two years of college level education, preferably in the area of early childhood or elementary education, or pass the ParaPro assessment. Candidates should have an ability to support behavioral and social skill development in a general education environment, and strong communication, problem solving and collaborative skills. Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis in a school or home setting is highly preferred. The STEP Paraeducator position is placed on Wage grade 4 (range $18.31-$24.71), 191 days per year for 6.67 hours per day. Applicants with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential, highly preferred, which is placed at a wage grade 5.
