Radiology Technician

JOB SUMMARY: As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will perform x-ray tests, assist with patient care, and ensure a seamless experience for our patients. This role encompasses operating diagnostic equipment, preparing the necessary supplies, and fulfilling Medical Assistant duties. Full-time positions include a rotating 36-40 hour schedule with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Below are the main duties associated with this role: Warmly greet patients and ensure a welcoming environment. Provide clear communication regarding wait times and the treatment process. Assist patients with concerns and escalate urgent issues as necessary. Conduct follow-up calls with diligence. Support front desk staff during patient check-in and check-out. Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, and other essential information. Help transfer patients and assist with various medical procedures. Perform timely radiology procedures for physician evaluation. Maintain quality control of imaging procedures and ensure proper patient preparation. Check and maintain diagnostic equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly. Continually improve your imaging knowledge and skills through training and education. Ensure compliance with documentation standards related to patient visits.
