Full-Time LPN in Nephrology & Hypertension Office Location:
South Clinical Campus, Albany NY Work schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Join our dynamic outpatient practice that serves patients in the fields of Nephrology, Infectious Disease, and Student Health Services at the South Clinical Campus of Albany Med. We are looking for a dedicated LPN who is committed to providing excellent patient care under the guidance of our skilled medical team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately obtain and record patients' vital signs. Document detailed components of patients' medical and health histories. Engage in clear communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Assist in in-office procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing. Perform venipuncture for laboratory testing. Handle prescription call-backs in accordance with your scope of practice. Prepare patient charts with relevant clinical information. Maintain supply inventory and ensure examination rooms are stocked. Comply with Albany Medical Center's regulatory standards. Qualifications: High School Diploma/G.E.D. is required. Valid LPN license in New York State upon hire. Previous experience in a patient care environment is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.
