A&P Technician Level 1, 2 and 3 , at our Stuart location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure company operational goals and objectives are completed on time. Coordinate with management, assigned supervision, and inspection personnel to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, signoffs and quality specifications using the Corridor maintenance program. Safely perform Part 91, 135 & 145 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, alterations, and servicing of aircraft and/or components, with minimal supervision. Accomplish assigned tasks in accordance with applicable technical data, Part 135 GOM/GMM, Part 145 RSM/QCM, aircraft manufacturer's specific maintenance program or AAIP, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, blueprints, engineering documentation, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, OSHA, and to industry best practices. Responsible for verifying part number and serial number information on the component/part match the associated traceability documentation prior to installation. Properly handle, preserve, tag, identify all units/parts while in the work process, installation, and storage, marking all storage bins, racks, and removed parts. Protect aircraft interiors and exteriors in the areas where work is being performed. Verify tools are in calibration prior to use. Maintain positive FOD and tool control. Ensure that all aircraft maintenance documentation, records, reports, forms, and log entries are executed accurately and completely in a timely manner, prior to releasing the article for return to service. Follow standard operating procedures assigned by management, and as directed by the aircraft manufacturers maintenance manual specifications, when using aircraft maintenance tools and equipment such as electrical, hydraulic power, aircraft pressurization carts, aircraft jacks, calibrated tools, etc. Properly care for and maintain all required maintenance and facility equipment and tools. Be familiar with and understand the GOM/GMM/RSM/QCM, and any referenced forms or supplements. Ensure the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in applicable manuals. Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or aircraft released by the Repair Station. Periodically review and record On-the-job Training, as required. Provide documentation to the quality assurance department of all OJT & formal training to be incorporated into personnel training files. Maintaining currency requirements for all special authorizations as required. Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies. Dispose of all waste in appropriate containers/keeps work area clean and orderly Use personal protective equipment and ensure the aircraft exterior and interior are properly protected (PTP). Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance and/or Accountable Manager. Compensation and Benefits:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 to 10 years of related experience Must be an FAA certified Aircraft A&P Mechanic (FAA Certificate Required). FAA IA Inspection Authorization is preferred, and FCC Certification is preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the American English language fluently to meet FAA Regulations. Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and be assigned to a FAA mandated drug screening program. Ability to read and comprehend various documents, to include drawings, schematics, diagrams, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, manufacturer's manuals, etc. Must have experience working with the FAA and have a strong comprehensive knowledge of 14CFR Part 91, 135 & 145. Must be capable and willing to operate equipment and perform aircraft ground runs. Must be able to train and direct junior mechanics. Must be team oriented, self-driven and safety conscious Consistently demonstrate positive behavior and attitude. Must be goal-oriented and driven to meet and/or exceed quality maintenance actions and expectations. Possess the ability to use standard aircraft mechanics tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft maintenance process. Must be able to work at heights to include from a 20' ladder or aerial lift. Ability to climb ladders and stairs, perform close tolerance work, work in small spaces, lift up to 70 pounds. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends, and holidays Efficient in the use of electronic and paper-based manuals. Ability to apply creativity and problem-solving Excellent knowledge and proficiency with Corridor, MS Office products, CAMP, or similar software. Occasional overtime, nights, and/or weekends may be required. On-call rotation participation required.
