Transform Lives as a Nutrition Specialist Communicate with and counsel patients based on dietary instructions from their physicians. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care. Evaluate referral orders to ensure adequate nutrition intake. Document essential information in patients' medical records according to established guidelines. Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary requirements. Conduct calorie counts and provide recommendations accordingly. Review and finalize menus for nutritional adequacy. Qualifications Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association. State licensure required. Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred. Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution in Food & Nutrition. One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.
