Description Join Leidos as a Program Manager leading the innovative Universal Stage Adapter program in support of NASA's Space Launch System. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of engineers and functional staff dedicated to delivering cost-effective solutions for national space priorities. Primary Responsibilities As the Program Manager, you will oversee the design, development, manufacture, and testing of Universal Stage Adapter hardware. You will ensure successful execution of complex technical tasks while managing cost, schedule, and performance. Your role encompasses various technology areas including large scale composites, mechanical systems, and systems integration. You will serve as the primary interface between our customers and Leidos leadership. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining project plans and objectives Overseeing technical scope and control accounts Leading program-level meetings and setting clear expectations for the project team Guiding daily execution activities and managing cross-functional and subcontractor coordination Reviewing and updating the integrated master schedule with IPT leads Identifying program risks and opportunities and formulating effective mitigation strategies Supporting customer earned value reporting Evaluating program metrics to ensure successful project execution Delivering on profitability goals Preparing and presenting program-related reports for various stakeholder meetings Enhancing communication and collaboration within the project Basic Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with program management experience 10 years of project/program management experience and 15 years in aerospace product development Experience in multi-year programs valued over $100M Prior experience with Earned Value Management Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse functional disciplines and senior leadership Deep understanding of hardware development, manufacturing, and integration Experience in cost estimation and budget management Experience in managing subcontractors Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are desirable: Experience with manned space flight programs Engineering degree(s) in a relevant field Background in composite manufacturing Experience leading large, diverse teams, including suppliers Strong track record in managing schedules and program metrics Project management qualification (PMP) or similar Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to foster communication and teamwork Analytical problem-solving skills with strong organizational capabilities This role is based in Huntsville, AL and Decatur, AL, and candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You will work predominantly from our Leidos facilities with flexibility for situational telework. Pay Range: $134,550.00 - $243,225.00 This pay range is a guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation. Salary will consider factors including job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
