Multimodality Technologist

Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and potentially others, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns. Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment for optimal image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation. Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring all machines are functioning correctly and performing regular maintenance as needed. Document patient information, procedures, and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety, infection control, and proper handling of contrast agents. Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret images, assisting in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines. Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain certifications for all modalities. Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in at least one modality (X-ray, CT, MRI), with additional certifications in other modalities preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with proficiency in multiple modalities. Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, equipment, and safety protocols. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and informed. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging and documentation. Benefits:
