Join a Leading Program with Leidos Leidos has been awarded the Navy Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) contract—an eight-year, $7.7 billion initiative responsible for maintaining and modernizing the global network of the Navy and Marine Corps. We are excited to invite a Senior Active Directory and Exchange Expert to join our team in Quantico, VA. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in supporting a transformative program. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and troubleshoot critical outages and incidents while engineering sustainable solutions. Execute lifecycle events for Active Directory group objects, including: Create new group objects Modify attributes and types of existing group objects Deactivate and delete group objects as needed

Provide expert technical guidance on Exchange and Windows software updates, vulnerability management, and security enhancements, ensuring collaboration during upgrades and implementations.

Establish and monitor security policies for information systems, implementing domain-level security measures and applying latest security patches and updates.

Collaborate on planning and designing Windows infrastructure needs, leading efforts in the installation and configuration of Active Directory Network components.

Serve as a primary escalation point for complex technical support issues, providing direction in problem resolution.

Document all system processes related to Active Directory and Exchange, actively participating in service improvements that enhance user experience and security.

Qualifications: High School Diploma with ten years of relevant IT experience, including six years of hands-on Active Directory and Exchange management.

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification is required.

Must be a U.S. citizen with a DoD Top Secret security clearance.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019), Windows 10, Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP Protocols, and Group Policies is essential.

Proven expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting Windows systems in an Active Directory environment.

Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.

Experience managing software license compliance and system user access.

Skilled in monitoring and optimizing Microsoft Exchange performance.

Experience in planning and executing system backup and recovery operations.

A strong understanding of Windows credential stores and their security functions is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications: MCSE certification in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or Productivity/Messaging.

Previous experience with Navy NGEN or Marine Corps MCEN is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience is highly desirable.

ITIL certification is an added advantage.

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams/O365 in an enterprise context is beneficial.

$72,150.00 - $130,425.00 The pay range provided is a guideline and may vary based on several factors including job responsibilities, education, experience, and alignment with market data.
