JOB SUMMARY :

The primary role of the Behavior Intervention Specialist is to assist students in overcoming barriers that interfere with learning through early intervention strategies and frequent progress monitoring and collaborate with school staff to identify children in need of service and provide service designed to prevent and alleviate learning, social, and emotional difficulties in children prior to social service or special education referral. The Behavior Intervention Specialist utilizes knowledge of human behavior, social, cultural and community influences to help create a positive learning climate.

SALARY:

Licensed Applicant Salary: $47,804

Non-licensed Applicant: $25 - 30 per hour
