About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President (EVP) for Client Services in the biotech sector. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to connect humankind to its best health, driving strategic vision, operational excellence, and business growth across a significant portfolio of biotech clients. This pivotal role involves serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite clients, leading high-performing cross-functional teams, and shaping integrated communications strategies that encompass scientific storytelling, regulatory milestones, investor and stakeholder engagement, and product lifecycle communications. The EVP will also be responsible for overseeing a substantial book of business, ensuring profitability, and identifying new business opportunities within and beyond the biotech sector.
Applicants for the EVP position should have a Bachelors degree in communications, life sciences, or a related field, with at least 20 years of experience in healthcare communications, particularly in biotech and life sciences. The role requires a proven track record in managing and growing a substantial portfolio of business, a deep understanding of the biotech landscape, and exceptional leadership, communication, and client service skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing large, matrixed teams, and be solutions-oriented with a strong ability to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
