ARRT Radiologic Technologist
A reputable hospital located just outside Fredericksburg, Texas, is in search of a committed and experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to become a vital part of our imaging department. This position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and additional modalities as needed. Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning, promptly reporting any malfunctions. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and alleviating any concerns they may have. Keep accurate patient records and documentation for all imaging procedures performed. Follow safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to both patients and staff. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support patient care. Engage in quality control and assurance activities to uphold exceptional imaging service standards. ARRT Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification: Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred but not essential. Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Benefits:
