Install plumbing systems with an emphasis on quality, productivity, training, and teamwork. This position reports to the Leadman/Foreman/Superintendent on site. REQUIREMENTS 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing Education: High School Diploma /G.E.D and/or Plumbing Trade school Licenses: Journeyman Plumber, Backflow Certification, OSHA 30, CPR / First Aid, Valid Driver’s License This job has physical requirements: ability to lift 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, work off ladders and lifts, operate hand tools. Work in indoor and outdoor environments, including inclement weather. Flexible with working hours (nights & weekends required). RESPONSIBILITIES Clock in and out daily, use call out line as required. Proficient in layout and installation of hangers. Use appropriate tools for each task, including power tools, threading and groove machines, freeze machines, wet tap tools, and tee drills. Create material lists. Understand plumbing/hydronic concepts; perform installations such as grading waste and vent pipes, soldering copper pipes, installing copper, PVC, cast-iron, steel, and gas pipes, fixture installation, testing piping, and equipment layout. Create and submit daily reports as needed. Mentor apprentices when needed. Read and understand plans and specifications. Run job site with minimal supervision when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site; ensure proper PPE and safety standards. Arrive early with necessary tools, ready to work. Follow safety plans and company policies. Assist and work with apprentices and other plumbers. Contribute to job planning with your foreman. Maintain company vehicle if provided.
