Software Engineer (.NET Developer) Financial Applications Location: Remote (EST); preferred local candidates 2 to 3 days per week NC (Charlotte / Greensboro) Need 10+ Years of experience Need / L2 / USC Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, & evaluate programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, & marketing. Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, perform coding, & test/debug programs. Develop conversion & system implementation plans. Prepare & obtain approval of system & programming documentation. Recommend changes in development, maintenance, & system standards. Train users in system conversion & implementation. Qualifications
6+ years of software development experience, preferably in financial reconciliation systems. Understanding of Banking & PCI Compliance is essential. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with ReconNet or similar reconciliation tools (e.g., IntelliMatch, BlackLine). Strong skills in C#, .NET Core, & MVC for developing scalable applications. Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) & ORMs like Entity Framework. Tools & Technologies
Version control with Git & GitHub. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) & tools like Jira & Confluence. Experience deploying & managing applications on Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Designing, creating, & maintaining efficient batch jobs. Proficiency in Bash scripting (Linux) & Windows scripting for automation. Strong RDBMS skills, especially in SQL. Experience with Control-M for job scheduling in mainframe & distributed environments. Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) for SaaS authentication & access control.
