Full Stack Engineer

to strengthen our engineering team and accelerate innovation across our platform.

Position Summary

The Full Stack Engineer will be a key member of our development team, contributing to core product architecture and development. The position is focused on Angular and NestJS frameworks within a TypeScript-first environment, with additional exposure to Firebase services and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented developer with a strong background in building scalable, production-ready systems that directly improve health outcomes.

This position is suited for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is passionate about building clean, intuitive tools for real-world clinical impact.

Key Responsibilities

Product Engineering

Design, build, and maintain applications using Angular standalone modules and NestJS; Write clean, testable, and maintainable TypeScript code across the full stack; Develop scalable REST and GraphQL application programming interfaces to support real-time data communication; Prototype and iterate on new features to translate product requirements into deployed solutions.

Technical Infrastructure

Leverage Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore, Hosting, and Cloud Functions; Optimize frontend-backend integration and ensure responsive performance across devices; Maintain shared libraries, technical documentation, and reusable tools in a monorepo environment; Champion best practices in state management, observables, and modular architecture.

Collaboration & Execution

Work closely with design, product, and clinical stakeholders to shape intuitive user experiences; Contribute to agile sprint planning, team code reviews, and platform scalability initiatives; Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling practices in all software components.

Required Experience

Must reside in the United States of America and be legally authorized to work without employer visa sponsorship, now or in the future; Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field; Minimum of three years developing production applications with Angular and NestJS; Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript; Proficient with Firebase, Authentication, Firestore, Hosting, and Cloud Functions; Strong understanding of observables, RxJS, component-based architecture, and dependency injection; Demonstrated experience designing and consuming RESTful application programming interfaces; Ability to work independently within a high-velocity, agile environment.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to React, Ionic, or Capacitor; Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL data structures; Strong user interface and user experience instincts and a portfolio of responsive, polished interfaces; Prior experience in healthcare or HIPAA-compliant application environments.
