Overview This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: NC, NJ, AZ. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical support to data processing systems. Analyzes existing and proposed data processing systems or procedures that improve processing capabilities. Assists in the installation of programs and procedures developed in coordination with end user groups. Enhances data processing systems and procedures through system analysis, coding, testing, and other activities that facilitate technical business objectives. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group. Responsibilities Data Analysis

- Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. System Testing

- Thoroughly tests systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency. Evaluates and conveys testing results. Performs coding and assists in implementing system modifications and enhancements. Interacts with Business units to gather and analyze requirements for developing solutions; designs and develops applications and sub-systems using COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, and JCL; ensures quality timely deliverables; rewrites existing business logic for simplified solutions; creates functional and technical specifications. Business Support

- Provides technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve processing capabilities. Works closely with business units and operations teams to support their business objectives. Technical Proficiency

- Utilizes knowledge to develop or install appropriate computer software. Serves as a resource on data processing systems and procedures. On-call Support

- Provides 24/7 on-call rotations, must be available for support to existing systems; provides functional and technical clarification to offshore teams; interacts with end users while troubleshooting production issues; coordinates with other technology groups on clarifications; involved in all phases of SDLC and project management activities.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming OR high school diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in application software programming. Preferred Area of Study:

Computer Science Preferred Area of Experience:

MS.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Scripting, PowerShell Scripting License or Certification Type: None Skills : Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML5, XML, SQL Scripting, PowerShell Scripting; experience with Microsoft TFS or similar code repository systems; experience with ServiceNow or other IT service ticketing systems; knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile); ability to be on call 24/7 on a rotating basis. Preferred Skills:
