Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP). Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Monitor system performance and availability, and implement improvements where needed. Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with organizational and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Support cloud cost optimization initiatives. Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms. Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, operations, development) to deliver cloud solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in cloud engineering. Proficiency with
at least one major cloud platform
(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Hands-on experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc. Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and DNS in a cloud context. Experience with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.). Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git. Understanding of cloud security best practices and identity & access management (IAM). Certifications such as
AWS Certified Solutions Architect ,
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator , or
Google Professional Cloud Engineer
(preferred). Preferred Skills:
Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK). Exposure to agile or ITIL frameworks.
