Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical expert for the design, implementation, and management of the organization's DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) infrastructure, with a focus on Infoblox appliances and the Infoblox NIOS operating system.
Manage and maintain the Infoblox Grid, including IP Address Management (IPAM), DNS, and DHCP services, covering Network Views, DNS Views, DHCP Scopes, Options, and Failover Associations.
Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Active Directory integration, ensuring high availability of DDI services.
Utilize Infoblox Network Insight for automated IP discovery, network visibility, and record keeping; monitor system health and performance using Infoblox reporting tools.
Plan and execute Infoblox NIOS upgrades, including configuration and staged rollouts, and troubleshoot NAT settings for Grid Members.
Apply expertise in TCP/IP networking, subnetting, routing, and VLANs to integrate and troubleshoot DDI services within the network architecture.
Identify automation opportunities within DDI and network tasks, implementing scripts (e.g., Python, Perl) and leveraging automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) with Infoblox APIs.
Implement network engineering solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture, serving as a Subject Matter Expert and escalation point for DDI and network disciplines.
Own technical responsibilities, collaborating with leadership and operational teams.
Ensure adherence to IT standards in network design, audit networks for compliance, and document procedures.
Lead proof-of-concept activities for new technologies, including DDI solutions, and communicate findings and timelines.
Develop methods to meet business objectives and resolve technical complexities.
Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to define network engineering deliverables related to DDI.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to peers and operational staff.
Mentor colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
Offer feedback on improving network infrastructure's availability, security, compliance, and performance.
Participate in strategic planning, technical roadmaps, standards, and architecture discussions for network services, emphasizing DDI expertise.
Manage crisis situations during high-severity incidents affecting network services.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
Demonstrate strong time management, multitasking, adaptability, and results-oriented skills to meet project milestones.

Qualifications
BA or BS in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of progressive IT experience in technical or infrastructure roles, preferably in healthcare.
Over 7 years of managing large, complex IT projects.
Deep understanding of network infrastructure principles, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, WAN).
Extensive hands-on experience (10+ years) with Cisco Routing, Switching, and Wireless infrastructure.
Experience designing datacenter and MDF/IDF environments, including cabling, racks, power, and cooling.
Familiarity with Cisco Nexus platform.
Proven troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution implementation skills.
Solid knowledge of wireless design and Cisco wireless technologies.
Experience with WAN design and integration.
Vendor management and evaluation skills.
Strong understanding of multi-network environments, DNS/DHCP, and IPAM; experience with Network Insight and NIOS is advantageous.
CCIE or CCNP certification preferred.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend solutions.
Ability to relate technical projects to business objectives and communicate effectively with leadership.
Capability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership experience in managing projects or teams is required.
Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
