Day Shift Description:
Variable shifts including coverage in PET CT, Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed. On-call rotation and holidays required. This is a Per Diem position. Position Purpose
Nuclear medicine technologists perform tests for diagnosis and medical research. They prepare and administer small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, then use high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body. What you will do
Perform diagnostic studies on gamma cameras and computer systems. Operate equipment independently, exercising judgment to perform procedures with high proficiency and technical skill. Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Ensure equipment is cleaned daily and meets infection control standards. Maintain accurate patient records and charges. Request assistance in complex situations. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program. Licensure
Florida CRT license required. ARRT or NMTCB certification required. BLS certification required. Position Highlights and Benefits
