About the Role: A leading full-service law firm is seeking a seasoned Lateral Partner with a strong background in digital assets, blockchain, and cryptocurrency law. The ideal candidate will bring a portable book of business and a passion for advising clients at the forefront of financial and technological innovation. Key Responsibilities: Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to blockchain technologies, tokenization, NFTs, DAOs, and cryptocurrency platforms. Provide strategic counsel on compliance with SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and global regulatory frameworks. Represent clients in investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation involving digital assets. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on matters involving tax, IP, cybersecurity, and fund formation. Serve as outside general counsel to Web3 and crypto-native companies. Contribute to business development and thought leadership in the digital asset space. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent international legal qualification. Minimum 10 years of legal experience, with a focus on digital assets, fintech, or financial regulation. Demonstrated success in client development and retention. Portable book of business (minimum threshold negotiable). Deep understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
