About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ITSM Developer to join our Data Center Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our IT service management workflows and automations, with a primary focus on Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, etc.). You will play a critical role in building our hardware failure ticketing system and internal incident response automation platform. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise in ITSM tools and a deep understanding of data center operations workflows. Focus
Design and implement sophisticated JIRA workflows, automation rules, and custom fields to support hardware failure tracking and incident management processes
Develop and maintain integrations between JIRA and other systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting to create seamless automated workflows
Build comprehensive dashboards and reporting solutions to provide real-time visibility into hardware failures, incident metrics, and operational KPIs
Collaborate closely with the infrastructure team to identify routine tasks and implement automation-first solutions that reduce manual intervention
Document all workflows, automations, and procedures while continuously analyzing processes for improvement opportunities
About You
3+ years of experience as a JIRA/Atlassian administrator with proven expertise in complex workflow development and automation
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy for creating custom scripts and integrations
Deep understanding of ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and experience implementing service management processes in technical environments
Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms for connecting disparate systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated track record of process improvement through automation
Nice to have
Experience in data center or cloud infrastructure environments with understanding of hardware lifecycle management
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana) and ability to integrate them with ticketing systems
Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
Certification in Atlassian products (ACP-JA, ACP-JSM) or ITIL Foundation
Experience with other ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) for comparison and best practices
