POSITION SUMMARY:
The Training and Professional Development Manager is responsible for strategic career bench planning and key leadership succession planning. This role involves analyzing the company’s professional development needs and formulating comprehensive plans, procedures, and programs to address them. The manager will ensure that all training initiatives align with the company's goals and contribute to the overall growth and development of the organization.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Exemplifies behaviors in alignment with the Mission Statement and Core Values of the Company; acts upon them daily, provides a deeper understanding of the Mission Statement and Core Values to leaders and team members.
2. Develops and oversees the creation of professional development training, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
3. Plans, conducts and coordinates individual development plans, tailoring them to meet the specific needs of the team member.
4. Manages the participation of company team members in development training programs, ensuring optimal engagement and learning outcomes.
5. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, delivering content that is both impactful and relevant.
6. Measure the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives, making data driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
7. Collaborates with management to identify and address leadership training needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
8. Tracks succession plans for key leadership positions and bench plans for management positions, ensuring a robust pipeline of talent
9. Designs career development plans for high-potential individuals, preparing them to take on additional responsibilities and advance within the organization.
10. Facilitates workshops and training sessions to enhance leadership skills, developing others to do the same.
11. Ensure project and department milestones and goals are met.
12. Oversees curriculum selection and evaluation, choosing appropriate online, blended learning, and self-reflection methods and assessing their effectiveness.
13. Manages NSU (Next Stop University) programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and its team members.
14. Maintains up-to-date knowledge and practice of current learning theories, applying them to enhance training programs.
15. Evaluates and delivers multi-faceted blended learning solutions, ensuring they are comprehensive and effective.
