As a
Network Engineer , you will work within our growing DevSecOps practice delivering features to support cloud, data center, and networking for multiple systems. We are seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in networking within hybrid cloud/on-premises environments. Contributions
Responsibilities include: Monitor network performance and availability issues, troubleshooting through root cause analysis. Conduct capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance at scale. Understand stakeholder needs and incorporate these into design solutions. Implement network segmentation to improve security and performance. Design and deploy networking solutions (e.g., LAN, WAN) in cloud and on-premises environments. Secure systems against cybersecurity threats by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems. Document current environment states, perform gap analysis, and produce recommendations and options documentation. Serve as an individual contributor and mentor junior team members. Engineer solutions and recommend continuous improvements for provided services. Provide regular status updates and cross-train team members. Qualifications
Required: Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance. BSc in an IT-related field or non-IT degree with 2 years of relevant IT experience. At least 3 years of troubleshooting experience in enterprise networks, including routing, routing protocols, WAN circuits, switching, firewalls, and wireless. Experience configuring and deploying routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. Preferred: 3 years of experience with SolarWinds, ISE, and NAC controls. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Experience documenting environment states, performing gap analyses, and producing recommendations. Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate CompTIA Network+ About
