ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Child Care Aware of Minnesota is a statewide early childhood care and education leader driving change through partnerships to build an equitable, high-quality early care and education system that meets the needs of Minnesota’s families and children. The organization works to strengthen the early childhood system by supporting child care providers with training, funding opportunities, and professional development, while also helping families understand and access quality care that fits their needs. The organization plays a key role in connecting caregivers, educators, and parents with resources that promote healthy development and school readiness for young children.
In addition to supporting families and providers, Child Care Aware of Minnesota partners with government agencies and community organizations to advocate for policies that create a more equitable and sustainable early care and education system. We work with integrity, honor diverse ideas and approaches, and foster a culture of respect and trust. We are child and family-centered and equity-driven and our work is grounded in a commitment to racial equity, cultural responsiveness, and reducing systemic barriers within early care and education across the state.
