We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Network Systems Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, deploying, and managing complex network and security environments — with certification in at least one (ideally more) of the following:
CCNP (CCIE preferred), PCNSA (PCNSE preferred) or CISSP .
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches. Lead projects using Palo Alto Networks technologies, including next-generation firewalls and security platforms. Develop, document, and continuously improve existing network and security plan and policies to meet business requirements and compliance standards. Lead security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk management to proactively identify and remediate potential threats. Collaborate across teams to integrate network security into project planning, system design, and operational processes. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff. Required Qualifications
At least one of the following certifications (multiple strongly preferred):
CCNP - CCIE preferred PCNSA - PCNSE preferred CISSP
5+ years of professional experience in network security engineering or related field. Strong understanding of enterprise networking (routing, switching, VLANs, BGP). Deep understanding in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale firewall policies. Experience in developing and maintaining security architecture plans and documentation. Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and SIEM tools. Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
Multiple certifications from the list above. Experience working with Cisco and Palo Alto Networks platforms. Experience with enterprise or multi-site environments. Knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS). Scripting or automation skills (Python, Perl). Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and endpoint security tools. About us
