The AF SAP Security Support Services (SSS) assist the AF security authority in oversight of security objectives supporting AF SAP interests through active security operations, processes, mechanisms, and management. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing security plans and documentation such as CVR, CSP, FFC, and TEMPEST documentation. Conducting security inspections and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Documenting violations and coordinating with the Accrediting Official (AO). Ensuring security of construction sites, materials, and access control. Mitigating security and counterintelligence threats in collaboration with the AO. Adhering to regulations including NISPOM, DCID, ICD, UFCs, and SAP policies. Overseeing security staff and procedures, providing assessments and improvements. Providing security briefings and training to personnel. Preparing accreditation documentation and reports. Leading and mentoring security team members. Knowledge and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience or 7 years of experience without a degree. Experience with physical security, personnel management, and construction management. Certifications such as SFPC, SAPPC, SPSC, SPIPC, PSC, ISOC, ATC are preferred; experience with these can substitute for up to 3 years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to operate independently and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision. Completion of safety and security courses within specified timeframes, including OSHA and ICD 705 requirements. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and walk long distances. Desired: Industry security certifications, construction surveillance experience, blueprint reading skills. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
