Description
As an engineer on our team, responsibilities will include collaborating on new insights and solutions, building user interfaces, writing background processing and networking code, and developing frameworks used by other teams at Apple and third-party developers. You will maintain and improve existing features, and contribute to innovative ideas for the future. Ensuring optimal application performance—such as fast launch times, fluid animations, and low power consumption—is a key part of your role. You will work closely with internal teams like iOS, macOS, watchOS Framework Engineering, Human Interface Design, Privacy Engineering, and Server Engineering, as well as external partners, on new features. Wallet is positioned at the intersection of multiple teams, offering opportunities to code and influence the user experience and overall product. Experience developing with Objective-C and/or Swift on iOS Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for product quality and attention to detail BS in Computer Science or equivalent education Preferred Qualifications
macOS and watchOS programming experience User-interface programming experience Note: The salary range for this role is $147,400 to $272,100, depending on skills, experience, and location.
