We are looking for a well-rounded individual who wants to learn, grow, and contribute their skills to the organization and our clients. It will be a plus if you have a particular strength in translating technical content into clear, simple, and accessible language. You will work on a variety of client programs, including energy efficiency, rooftop, and community solar, energy demand management, and code compliance, communicating to both industry stakeholders and participants, and end-use customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing campaigns
Assist with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns
Provide direction to creative team on the development of marketing campaign content like graphics, signage, printed materials, digital campaign assets.
Coordinate blog posts and social media posts
Duties include researching industry trends and competitive analyses
Duties may include coordinating program online and in-person events
Requirements & Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, business administration, public relations or another relevant discipline
1-3 years work experience in communications, marketing, related field
Exceptional communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and active listening
Basic understanding of marketing and communications principles
Knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for business correspondence, public relations, marketing and sales copy, and social media
Great organization skills and ability to pick up a variety of tasks, and “get things done” and done well
Desire to learn and grow
Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments
Great project management skills, including time management, goal setting, multitasking and prioritization
Good data analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills; basic excel/database management
Social media experience -- - Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter – or the desire to develop social media experience

Desire to help combat climate change
Passion for teamwork, but also self-motivated
Familiarity with translating technical content into approachable and understandable language
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines and reprioritize tasks as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of $55k - $68k

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices in six different locations . Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
