About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Director of Community Energy Programs to play a crucial role in steering the transition towards a clean, resilient, and equitable energy landscape. In this influential leadership position, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for administering state and federal funding aimed at enhancing access to renewable energy, building community resilience, alleviating energy burdens, and forwarding environmental justice initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic program design and implementation.
Efficient procurement processes and policy execution that align with our clean energy and environmental justice objectives.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Building a diverse and talented workforce.
Fostering strong partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, including Tribes, local governments, and community-based organizations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in managing complex programs and policy implementation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
A background in public or business administration, public policy, environmental science, or a related field.
Demonstrated skills in leadership, organizational dynamics, program management, performance accountability, decision-making, and change management.
