We are a Detroit-based law firm with a strong reputation for aggressive representation in criminal defense and personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience handling criminal and/or personal injury cases, from intake through resolution.Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in criminal and personal injury matters, including pre-trial hearings, trials, and negotiations. Handle case management, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Conduct client interviews and maintain regular communication throughout the case. Negotiate settlements and plea agreements. Appear in court on a regular basis. Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in firm systems. Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing with the Michigan State Bar. Minimum of 5 years of relevant litigation experience. Strong courtroom and trial skills. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload. Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills. Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation. Preferred:
Experience with high-profile or complex criminal defense matters. Proven results in negotiating favorable personal injury settlements. What We Offer:
