Senior Fintech Account Manager (Vertical: Hedge Funds) NYC (4 days on office, midtown) Our client is a leading global provider of financial technology solutions, consulting, and digital managed services to the asset management and alternative investment industries. They are seeking a proven Senior Account Manager who understands asset management and the alternative investment ecosystem, along with the evolving technology landscape. The account management team focuses on developing long-term partnerships with strategic customers. They work to deeply understand client needs and develop tailored offerings that enhance customer value and satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong account management expertise, a background in consultative sales, and a history of managing complex client relationships within hedge funds and alternative investment firms. Responsibilities of the Senior Fintech Account Manager: Manage a dedicated territory and client list as a strategic Senior Account Manager Define and execute account growth strategies through targeted campaigns Create and manage comprehensive account plans detailing areas of engagement and growth opportunities Work closely with the sales team to identify new opportunities and assist in closing new business Negotiate and close renewals while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts Qualifications of the Senior Fintech Account Manager: 4+ years of experience in fintech software sales and/or account management, specifically working with hedge fund clients Proven track record of managing a multi million USD book of business with consistent ARR growth Strong understanding of: Asset management and alternative investments Trade lifecycle and operations Buy side systems and vendor platforms Evolving buy side technology landscape Demonstrated success in executive-level client communications and delivering impactful presentations Proven experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and senior decision-makers Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with external clients, organizations, and stakeholders Experience collaborating with senior leadership teams and contributing to strategic discussions A multifaceted role offering significant responsibility and a broad range of opportunities A modern, international work environment supported by a dedicated and motivated team Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunities to work on some of the most complex and relevant issues in financial services and fintech A collaborative, flexible, and respectful culture where innovation is valued Keywords: senior fintech account manager, hedge funds, buyside, alternative investments, asset management, trade lifecycle, operations, buy side systems, vendor platforms, SaaS sales, enterprise software, client relationship management, C-level stakeholders, fintech consulting, financial technology, strategic account management, account growth, ARR, revenue growth, senior management, New York fintech jobs, financial services technology, hedge fund technology, buy side technology sales.
