HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED) In addition to the basic qualifications of the SA3 labor category, the successful candidate will have the following skills/capabilities: Well-rounded administrator with strong problem-solving skills and expertise in several of the following (in priority order): Virtualization products (e.g., VMWare) Networking skills Linux OS Windows OS Fifteen (15) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree. Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems Assist users in accessing and using IT systems Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem resolution Communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers Optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform capacity analysis and planning Support dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution Provide in-depth troubleshooting experience in IT systems: Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/load software, troubleshoot, maintain network components, and implement OS enhancements Provide detailed analysis and feedback on escalated tickets Support system design, mission architecture, and hardware Understand system administration interdependencies within Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Analyze and resolve complex issues with server hardware, applications, and software integration
