Someone with experience setting up food service areas, preparing a high volume of food, and maintaining proper food storage conditions is desired.
An interest in learning and prior work experience in the food industry are ideal qualities for the position. We need someone who can perform well under pressure, can prioritize their tasks, and can work well with others on the crew. This position is open right now if that sounds like you!
Responsibilities
•Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it •Guarantee that quality food is supplied by following specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products •Ready food stations by washing, cutting, dicing, and chopping items needed for food prep •Prepare meals in accordance with the instructions printed on food order tickets or delivered verbally by staff •Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
•Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements •Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers •Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic •Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask •Prior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desired
