Support the Litigation & Enforcement Practice Development Business Support team in the tracking, organization, and governance of the firm’s Litigation & Enforcement practice group experience management initiatives.The Experience Analyst will support efforts to identify, retain, and share matter experience and other practice and/or business development data within the Litigation & Enforcement Practice Development Business Support Team and practice group in support of our goal to provide excellent legal services to our clients. The Experience Analyst will also develop and maintain best practices for tracking and analyzing our internal experience and contribute to external rankings and go-to-market materials. Responsibilities
Identify, retain, and share attorney experience, knowledge marketing, and product initiatives. Ensure consistency and clarity of practice-specific data by maintaining internal Litigation & Enforcement repositories, including regular review for inconsistencies, updates, and gaps to be remediated. Interact with attorneys as needed for clarity on matter detail. Extract data from relevant documents and databases, as appropriate. Distribute regular reports on experience and other practice and/or business development data to the Litigation & Enforcement attorneys. Support the Litigation & Enforcement Practice Development Business Support Team on global ranking and award submissions by identifying appropriate work experience to support each request, executing the reference collection process and monitoring response rates, and coordinating updates to internal and external materials with new awards and rankings. Proactively support marketing, websites, and other go-to-market platforms with current experience and other practice-specific data. Assist with and track client alerts, newsletters, and other thought leadership opportunities. Support various daily specialty group and broader Litigation & Enforcement strategic practice group projects, as appropriate. Collaborate on best practices for using various work experience data with the Litigation & Enforcement Practice Development Business Support team. Basic research and data collection to support tracking of experience and other practice data. Qualifications
An undergraduate degree. A minimum of two years’ work experience preferred. A background in business or equivalent experience is desirable. Project management and organizational skills. Ability to identify and solve problems, work independently, and take initiative. Ability to compile, review, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on data and information which is varied in content and format. Strong oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to effectively use technology, database, presentation, and spreadsheet software. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels. Ability to establish credibility with Ropes & Gray attorneys and professional staff, to bring to bear the right mix of confidence, tact, and persistence in working with the firm’s lawyers and professional staff. The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity. Boston: $55,400 - $80,300 Working Conditions
This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
