WFMT (classical music radio station) is looking for a
Distribution Coordinator .
The Distribution Coordinator ensures the smooth and efficient technical operation of Network program distribution, collaborating internally and working with external clients to address and resolve technical issues pertaining to the circulation of Network programs. The Coordinator maintains systems and platforms involved in the distribution chain and ensures the orderly organization and flow of Network programming content. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : ·
Upload and publish Network programming to PRX platform including regularly scheduled programs, hourly services, and off-schedule or one-off programs. ·
Provide technical specifications and assistance to clients including stations, content partners, and producers and participate in technical aspects of onboarding new clients. ·
Maintain content-sharing platforms such as Egnyte, Dropbox, and FTP. ·
Manage Composer2 processing including upload, editing, and widget display of playlist information. ·
Assist in the organization and tracking of Beethoven Network and Jazz Network hours. ·
Participate in ingesting and cataloging recordings for the jazz music library. ·
Organize and maintain Network programming content in an efficient and orderly manner. ·
Assist in compiling and processing of quarterly program listings and perform website updates as needed. ·
Participate in quality control processes. ·
Participate in department meetings and project planning. ·
Perform other relevant tasks and projects as assigned. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: ·
Advanced computer skills and facility with tools including Microsoft Office applications, Google Drive, Adobe Audition, WordPress, and platforms including PRX, Egnyte, and Dropbox. ·
Reliable attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a wide range of tasks and responsibilities amid multiple overlapping timelines and workflows. ·
Friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to provide thoughtful service and assistance to clients. ·
Ability to exercise discretion in all job functions and maintain confidentiality. ESTIMATED SALARY RANGE: starting at $42,000 - $46,000/annual WTTW and WFMT are committed to providing
