Required Qualifications
A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph
4 years with AS/AA; 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
You have experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer role deploying and supporting scalable & secure cloud-deployed solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
You have experience building solutions using AWS EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Cloud Formation, Cloud Trail, and other AWS technologies.
You have experience writing & maintaining Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
You have experience in managing identity and access management roles.
You have experience developing and maintaining a CI/CD architecture.

In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking a talented Cloud Developer to provide proven, industry leading cloud development experience to our law enforcement customer in order to solve their big data challenges.
The contractor shall provide resources to support the automation of application building, testing, security scanning and remediation, and deployment processes:
Manage and operate cloud platforms (including but not limited to: AWS and Azure) and their native DevOps tools.
Effectively write and utilize scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation purposes.
Leverage configuration management tools such as but not limited to Puppet, Chef, or Ansible to automate the deployment and maintenance of software environments, ensuring consistency and reducing manual intervention.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) practices and tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments.
Engineer, maintain and upgrade the platform and tools used by developers, including but not limited to: GitLab, JFROG Artifactory and Xray, Splunk, Hashicorp Vault, Boundary, Consul, Terraform, Nexus, JIRA, Crucible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible and Ansible Tower.
Integrate cloud-based infrastructure services such as AWS OpenSearch and EKS, focusing on automating the provisioning, configuration, and scaling of these services to meet application needs.
Set up cloud services and configurations through Infrastructure as Code (IAC), using tools like but not limited to: Terraform, CloudFormation to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments across environments and enclaves.
Configure and integrate COTS products and cloud services into CI/CD pipelines. Services include but are not limited to search, containerization, monitoring, logging, and authentication. Tools include but are not limited to: AWS OpenSearch, AWS EKS, Splunk, Microsoft Azure AD, and other cloud-based services.
Configure monitoring and alerting (e.g., via CloudWatch or third-party monitoring tools) to ensure application health, detect issues, and provide real-time visibility into service performance.
Configure services used by the application to automatically scale based on demand and to implement redundancy and failover solutions that align with the product’s resilience requirements.
Automate configurations of machine images, to include but not limited to: AWS Machine Images (AMIs) and Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines (AVMs).
Automate DevOps tasks consistently across three enclaves.
Analyze and design DevOps solutions based on user or technical requirements.
