Job Description
Experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in cloud transformation initiatives, and a strong focus on security, automation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and manage scalable, secure, and resilient Azure environments (IaaS, PaaS).
Lead cloud migration and modernization projects across hybrid and cloud-native systems.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform.
Drive cloud governance, cost optimization, and policy enforcement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and resolve critical incidents.
Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud engineering.
Required Skills
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure AD).
Strong knowledge of cloud security, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.
Proficient in scripting languages: PowerShell, Python.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD workflows.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and cloud governance models.
Bonus: Experience with AWS.
