about our collection and use of job applicant personal information can be found here: Privacy Practices Job Summary The Senior Project Software Engineer designs, develops, and delivers complex, high-impact, and mission-critical innovative software solutions in alignment with specific project goals and timelines, supporting key strategic initiatives across the organization.
Primary Objectives Develop, test, and maintain business applications built on Microsoft and other technologies. Collaborate with business unit management teams and project managers to deliver high-performance applications. Design, build, test, and deploy software application solutions aligned with project goals. Develop application documentation. Deliver on-time and on-budget solutions and adhere to high-quality development principles. Duties and Responsibilities
Collect, review, and analyze user needs and application software requirements for project delivery. Design, develop, modify, and test new and existing application programming. Collaborate with Product Owners, Stakeholders, QA, DevOps, and UX teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery. Evaluate system constraints, cost estimates, and project timelines. Create complex technical diagrams, flowcharts, models, and documentation for use by users, analysts, engineers, and programmers. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and security. Review and monitor error logs and support ticket system for internal and external systems and fix problems as required. Partner with internal and external development teams to create, enhance and maintain high-quality applications. Interface with team members and project managers to deliver reliable, high- performance applications within an Agile framework. Other duties as assigned. Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field required Licenses and Certifications
Microsoft certification (MCSD, MCSE) preferred Work Experience
8+ years of professional software development experience required Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of large-scale applications software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, development, QA testing and production deployment. Expert knowledge and strong understanding of API integrations and cloud based architecture. Excellent analytical and software design skills. Ability to identify complex problems and use logic and reasoning to review related information to develop and evaluate options, conclusions, and implement solutions. Strong relational database experience including database design, advanced stored procedure development, and query optimization. Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal direction. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in the utilization of a variety of development programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, SQL, SQLServer, and HTML/CSS. Ability to read, understand, and apply complex technical documentation and instructions. Great organizational and time-management skills, including an ability to estimate project completion times. Ability to juggle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines. Competencies
