The

General Manager



High Rise

ensures Association business is executed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with governing documents, Board policies, FirstService policies, California civil code, and other regulations. The General Manager will uphold the mission and vision of the Board of Directors and membership, overseeing all building operations, including relationships with the board, residents, staff, vendors, and external agencies. Responsibilities include maintenance, vendor management, compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and communication with stakeholders. Compensation:

$140K-$160K. FirstService Residential will compensate based on experience, education, and responsibilities. Salaries are subject to change. Job Responsibilities: Understand and enforce governing documents and rules. Learn FSR systems (e.g., FSR Connect, AVID, ADP, Jenark). Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff; create staffing plans and budgets. Promote service standards and conduct inspections. Maintain safety systems and emergency procedures. Respond to resident requests and manage community compliance. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and attend board and committee meetings. Manage vendor invoices, bids, and contracts. Monitor financial health, prepare reports, and develop budgets. Support Board planning and oversee audits and tax filings. Identify community needs and implement improvements. Uphold high standards of conduct and perform operational tasks as needed. Skills & Qualifications: Strong math, communication, and customer service skills. Knowledge of HOA rules, facility maintenance, and financial statements. Service-oriented, flexible, and able to handle conflicts. Ability to lead and instill confidence in staff and residents. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; not mandatory. CCAM, CMCA, or PCAM preferred. Minimum three years of high-profile community management or related experience. Physical Requirements & Environment: Lift 25 lbs, sit/stand for long periods, communicate effectively. Mobility for site inspections, with accommodations as needed. Regular attendance required; some evening/weekend hours. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage on-site personnel and vendors. Develop staffing and performance expectations. Tools & Equipment: Office equipment, valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance. Travel: Reliable transportation required; some evening meetings.
