Senior Sweater Designer
to lead the creative direction for our sweater categories across all genders. This role will oversee the full design and development lifecycle, serve as the creative lead in customer-facing settings, and guide internal teams through seasonal concepting and execution. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in sweater design, a strong sense of trend and brand identity, and a leadership style that fosters collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead seasonal trend research and design direction for sweaters across men’s and women’s categories. Develop and present cohesive concepts, collections, and strategies in internal and external meetings. Serve as the primary creative lead in customer-facing presentations and engagements. Mentor and manage junior designers, promoting a culture of innovation and teamwork. Maintain consistency in brand identity and design aesthetic across all sweater categories. Oversee stitch selection, yarn development, and technical construction aligned with creative and commercial goals. Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and whitespace opportunities. Manage project timelines and design milestones to ensure timely execution. Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and manufacturing partners to support quality and innovation. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field. 10+ years of experience in sweater design, including both men's and women's categories. Proven leadership and team management experience. Strong technical knowledge in stitch development, yarn sourcing, and sweater production. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a background in client-facing roles. Strong time management and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools. Knowledge of off-price, branded, and licensing markets is a plus. Salary Range:
$125,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with experience, skills, and role requirements) Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and company holidays.
