Department Overview Automation System Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Job Description Maintain and repair computer-controlled systems and robotic devices in industrial and commercial settings.
Provide immediate response to equipment malfunctions and escalate unresolved issues to management and engineering teams.
Utilize advanced technical knowledge to perform tests and analyze complex hardware problems.
Perform automation system maintenance according to schedule and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation.
Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality as specified in TPM documentation.
Diagnose automation control systems using diagrams, schematics, manuals, and manufacturer documentation.
Troubleshoot non-functioning components including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, pneumatic devices, and other vital technology.
Install, configure, and commission new robotic systems and production equipment, including hardware upgrades.
Perform automation programming tasks and other services related to production equipment upkeep.
Record data regarding root cause analysis, corrective actions, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
Evaluate and implement process improvements, assisting engineering teams with process changes.
Maintain effective communication with production, quality, engineering, and management personnel.
Work in accordance with training, work procedures, and safety instructions to ensure satisfactory EHS performance.
Assist operators in machine configurations, fixture setups, and adjustments as required.
Flexibility to work holidays and weekends occasionally.
Target Base Salary Range: $48,500 - $80,200

Basic Requirements
3+ years related experience
Associates Degree in automation technology, robotics, electronics, or a related discipline
Travel Requirements Under 10%
