Lead Electrical Engineer

who is ready to provide solutions that inspire our employees, exceed our clients’ expectations, and create a lasting legacy in our communities. We seek a candidate eager to advance their career by leading electrical design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including low and medium voltage power, standby power, motor controls, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunications systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use professional judgment to independently complete engineering tasks within local, state, and federal criteria. Design water/wastewater and utility-based projects that meet client needs. Ensure accuracy of tasks through HR Green's QA/QC processes. Identify and address technical, schedule, or financial issues proactively through communication with the Project Manager or management. Assist in bidding or contractor selection if authorized. Respond to contractor questions, issue project addenda as needed. Prepare change orders as authorized. Participate in preparing engineering proposals, including calculations, schedules, and cost estimates. Sign and seal engineering documents as an authorized representative. Communicate technically with clients independently. Under supervision, assign and manage tasks to Staff Engineers and project team members. Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university. Professional registration (P.E.) in one or more states, or ability to obtain within six months. 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 4 years in electrical systems design for buildings/infrastructure. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (or similar) drafting systems. Water/wastewater design experience is a plus but not required. Compensation Range $101,200.00 - $161,600.00 The compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may include base salary and performance-based bonuses.
