You'll have... Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in the relevant occupation. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills: Utilizing CAD packages like TeamCenter or 3DX for CAD development, creating or enhancing CAD models for Thermal CAE measures. Using ANSA pre-processing to streamline CAD designs. Conducting thermal simulations of vehicles with TAITherm to analyze heat distribution and evaluate heat management strategies. Detailing CAE results with EnSight to identify thermal challenges and describe flow concerns. 2 years of experience with StarCCM+ for analyzing vehicle thermal behavior, including heat distribution and fluid dynamics. As a Thermal Systems Engineer, you will: Collaborate with the thermal program team to optimize thermal environments for vehicle components. Lead and perform full vehicle transient thermal CAE models, from CAD data collection to post-processing. Innovate CAE processes focusing on accuracy, capability, and efficiency. Ensure high-quality CAE results and provide technical recommendations for design optimization. Interface with global teams and present findings to stakeholders. Document work for traceability and support design and optimization efforts throughout vehicle development.
