Job Description
THE ROLE: Manager Partner Onboarding & Technical Integrations Are you driven professional with a strong understanding of digital media technologies and a passion for content distribution across emerging platforms? Join our team as a Digital Platforms Onboarding & Partner Technical Specialist, where you'll assist the onboarding of 70+ partners, collaborate with top industry players like Amazon, Netflix, and Disney+, and design innovative workflows that increase productivity. With your expertise in AVOD, TVOD specifications, project management, and tools like Aspera and Wrike, you’ll optimize processes, manage cross-functional teams, and shape our metadata strategy. This is a dynamic role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are ready to tackle complex challenges while working with cutting-edge technologies. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: Coordinate the technical onboarding process for multiple partners/platforms while liaising between partners and internal teams to create customized technical media workflows for video, audio, language components, and auxiliary materials.
Bridge communication with Tech and Product to deliver on client technical specifications and integration onboarding for our VOD, TVOD, AVOD, SVOD and FAST partners.
Support and collaborate with automated and manual workflows using Aspera, Signiant, Vantage, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere to increase productivity.
Tailor and integrate Wrike project management software to improve task visibility, increasing onboarding speed for new clients and platforms.
Act as a subject matter expert on VOD technical specifications and packaging.
Assist with multiple projects, from discovery to execution, collaborating with Tech, engineering, and operations teams for VOD, TVOD, SVOD, AVOD, FAST, and localization solutions.
Define project technical requirements and product enhancements to Tech teams and media engineers based on feedback or challenges from digital streaming platforms/partners.
Provide support for metadata strategies, working with product owners, and collaborating on process modifications and design with metadata XML, XML builds, and integration.
Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, tech, sales, and product, to support production workflows and onboarding across the business; ability to explain the project objective
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: BA or BS in Media, Communications or related field is preferred.
8-10 years of experience with technical onboarding or equivalent professional experience
Strong technical competence relating to file specifications and delivery workflows
Expert in MAM, CMS, AWS, and CDN integrations and onboarding
Expert in transcoding into various codecs, and applications to support them
Knowledgeable with TVOD, AVOD, SVOD, and FAST business models
UAT Testing experience, with emphasis on file formats specs
Ability to understand and articulate APIs to tech and product team
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across diverse systems and platforms.
Ability to identify issues proactively, troubleshoot technical challenges, and suggest practical, innovative solutions.
Drive accountability and results cross departmentally, aligning all teams on the path towards excellence.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proven track record preparing and delivering video, audio, subtitles, and metadata packages for digital platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, HBO Max, or similar.
Hands on experience in media operations, post-production, or digital content prep at a vendor such as Deluxe, IDC, Juice, or equivalent a Plus .
Netflix Post Partner Program or AWS Media Services knowledge a bonus.
Compensation
Annual Pay Range: $85,470 - $100,000Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%
