Recruiter (Contract – Local to Tri-State Area Only)

ASAP is hiring a Recruiter to support one of our clients’ Human Resources teams during a strategic HR transformation initiative. This is a great opportunity to build broad recruiting experience within a large, structured organization while contributing to high-impact hiring efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and collaborative, with a passion for creating a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding, and background coordination. Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, culture, and align on best hiring practices. Implement effective outreach strategies to build a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates. Analyze recruitment data to inform and optimize sourcing and hiring strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Benefits, and Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth candidate experience. Maintain accurate and compliant records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Represent the organization at job fairs, conferences, and career events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.). Strong understanding of recruitment laws, compliance, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive or confidential information. Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with SAP and SuccessFactors. Previous experience in a large or evolving HR organization.
Note:
