Indian Health Service (IHS) – Rosebud, South Dakota Hourly rate:

$38.00 per hour + $1,246 weekly stipends Contract length:

1 year (with the option to extend) Schedule : Shifts will vary according to departmental need but may include 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts in any combination needed to provide seamless coverage. Benefits: Health and Welfare $5.09 per hour PTO Sick leave Paid holidays Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year of Radiology Tech experience. Active certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Responsibilities: Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment in accordance with facility protocols and manufacturer standards. Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures (including but not limited to chest, extremities, spine, abdomen) as ordered by physicians. Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, and technique to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Follow radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure to patients, self, and staff Maintain proper documentation and image archiving through the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Ensure patient care needs are met during the procedure, with attention to comfort, privacy, and cultural sensitivity. Assist with mobile and emergency imaging procedures as needed Participate in quality assurance activities and report equipment malfunctions promptly. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.
