Job Description We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with over 8 years of experience in implementing large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can translate requirements into understandable data metrics and schemas, with strong technical expertise in Snowflake, Talend, AWS storage solutions, and DevOps practices. Qualifications: Core Skills: SQL, ETL, Talend, Snowflake, Scripting, Git, Batch and Streaming Technologies 8+ years in Data Warehousing and Data Engineering 3+ years with Snowflake and Talend Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for queries and data extraction Experience with file formats like Parquet, Avro, JSON Understanding of Snowflake architecture and data pipeline design Proven ability to design scalable ETL processes with complex transformations, data cleansing, quality assessment, error handling, and monitoring Experience managing large-scale streaming and batch data processing platforms Ability to develop, manage, and monitor complex ETL pipelines across environments Scripting experience with Python or JavaScript is a plus Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like Airflow, UC4, AWS Step Functions Containerization knowledge (Docker/Kubernetes) is advantageous Willingness to provide escalated support and troubleshooting for data platforms Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or collaboratively Mentoring and guiding team members Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Additional Notes Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
